Equine therapeutic acupuncture arises from bodywork methods such as massage, manipulation, physiotherapy and shiatsu (acupressure). The same foundations also support veterinary and small-animal work.

The course is project-based rather than exam-based, with one theory and one practical lesson every fortnight, plus regular free Zoom conference sessions that replace the old “block” practical attendance model.
